Honda motorcycles may leak engine oil onto rear tire high
A sealing bolt on the engine case may have been made incorrectly. If it does not seal properly, engine oil can seep out and drip onto the rear tire. Oil on a tire makes it slippery and can cause you to lose control of the motorcycle, especially while braking, cornering, or riding on wet pavement. Dealers will replace the crankcase sealing bolt at no charge, and owner letters went out in July 2025.
