Kia Stinger and K900 turbo oil leak fire risk critical

Reported 2024-03-01 · Campaign 24V169000 · Model years: 2019

These cars have a turbocharged 3.3-liter engine. The pipe and hose that carry oil to the left turbocharger can break down over time and start leaking. Oil dripping onto the hot parts of the engine can catch fire, and this can happen while you are driving. A dealer will replace the pipe and hose assembly for free. If you smell burning oil or see smoke from under the hood, stop and get help right away.
