On some 2023 BMW X5 models, one of the four bolts that holds the driver's seat back to the seat frame may not have been put in correctly at the factory. The seat back is what supports you when you sit, and it needs all four bolts to stay firmly in place. If it is loose, it may not hold you properly in a crash. A dealer will check the driver's seat back and install the bolt if it is missing.

- Remedy
