Lincoln Aviator Plug-In Hybrid Can Lose Drive Power high

Reported 2022-03-25 · Campaign 22V187000 · Model years: 2022

These Aviators have a plug-in hybrid system that charges from an outlet. Inside the charging port, a metal connector in the wiring can work loose. If that happens, the vehicle can lose its drive power, meaning it stops pulling and you cannot keep up with traffic. Losing power in a traffic lane raises the risk of being hit. Dealers will check a date code on the charge port wiring and replace the wiring if it is affected, free.
