Mercedes-Benz EQE and GLC steering bolt may loosen critical

Reported 2025-08-20 · Campaign 25V533000 · Model years: 2025

The bolt that holds the steering connection onto the steering rack may not have been tightened properly. Over time that connection can work loose. If it separates, turning the steering wheel may no longer turn the front wheels, meaning you could lose the ability to steer the vehicle. This covers certain 2023-2026 Mercedes-Benz EQE and GLC models, including the AMG GLC 43 Coupe. Dealers will check the bolts and tighten them as needed, at no charge.
