BMW found that one 2019 F850GS motorcycle may have been built with engine connecting rods that were not installed correctly. These rods are internal engine parts that push the pistons up and down. If they are loose, they can work their way free over time, wreck the engine, and cause the bike to suddenly lose power while you are riding. This motorcycle was never sold, so the dealer is fixing it first.

Summary: BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling one 2019 F850GS motorcycle. The engine connecting rods may not have been installed properly, possibly causing them to become loose and disconnect over time.
