Serious for night riding — the light can fail without warning, so avoid riding after dark or in poor visibility until the headlight is replaced.

What's wrong, in plain English

On these motorcycles the headlight can flicker or shut off completely while you are riding. If it goes dark at night or in bad weather, you lose the light you need to see the road ahead, and drivers around you lose an important clue that a motorcycle is there at all. Honda traced the problem to the headlight assembly itself, and dealers will install a new one at no cost. Owner letters went out in May 2025.

3. Have the headlight assembly replaced — the parts and labor are free.

Safety risk: Loss of headlight illumination can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the headlight assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 27, 2025. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 866-784-1870. Honda's number for this recall is KS0.
