A seat that moves unexpectedly may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing their risk of injury. The notice does not tell owners to stop driving.

What's wrong, in plain English

The button that lets the second-row outside seats slide and fold forward for easy entry can stick or jam. When that happens, the seat may unlatch, fold, or slide on its own while you are driving. A seat that shifts like that may not hold a passenger in place during a crash. Dealers will look at the switch and replace the plastic trim ring around it if needed, at no cost.

What you should do

1. Enter your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls to confirm your vehicle is included.
2. Call your Ford or Lincoln dealer and ask for recall 25S67 (Ford customer service: 1-866-436-7332).
3. Have the inspection and any switch bezel replacement done — the repair is free.

Remedy
Dealers will inspect the second-row seat switch, and replace the bezel around the switch as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 7, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S67.
