What's wrong, in plain English

The fuel tube connection near the fuel tank may come apart on affected Toyota Land Cruiser Hybrid vehicles. If the connection separates, fuel may leak. Dealers will inspect the connection and add an extra clamp. If needed, they will also replace the fuel tube and install the extra clamp. The inspection will determine which of these repairs the vehicle needs.

What you should do

1. Check your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
2. Contact a Toyota dealer to arrange service; Toyota customer service is available at 1-800-331-4331.
3. Have the dealer inspect the connection and add a clamp, replacing the fuel tube if necessary. The repair is free.
Where do I find my VIN, and what do I tell the dealer?
