BMW C650 scooter front brake hose may crack high

Reported 2019-03-01 · Campaign 19V157000 · Model years: 2019

Repeatedly turning the handlebars all the way to the left can, over time, crack the front brake hose on these BMW scooters. A cracked hose leaks brake fluid, and with less fluid the front brake becomes weaker, so the scooter may not stop the way you expect. Dealers replace the hose and add a protective sleeve over the connection fitting at no cost. Scooters already repaired under an earlier recall are covered again.
