Is my Acura driver's seat loose? Seat recalls explained

Is it safe to keep driving?
None of these three recalls tells owners to stop driving or to park the vehicle outside. The danger is specific to a crash: a seat that is not properly secured may not hold the driver in place, which raises the chance of injury in a collision that the seat would otherwise have been designed for. Day-to-day driving is not restricted by the notices, but there is no benefit to waiting, and a seat that already feels loose to you is a reason to book the free repair sooner rather than later.
What the free repair involves
For the 2024 Integra and Integra Type S in both the 2024 and 2026 recalls, dealers replace the driver's seat cushion frame. For the 2018 MDX, dealers replace the driver seat frame assembly; the related Honda Pilot and Ridgeline vehicles get their driver and front passenger seat slide rail frames replaced instead. Does this affect the passenger seat too?
For the Acura models, no. The notices name the driver's seat only: the driver seat frame assembly on the 2018 MDX and the driver's seat cushion frame on the 2024 Integra. Front passenger seats were included only for the 2018 Honda Pilot and Ridgeline.
My 2024 Integra was already repaired. Why did I get another letter?
The 2024 Integra appears in both the November 2024 recall and the January 2026 recall for an improperly tightened driver's seat cushion frame. They are separate campaigns, so give the dealer the new recall number and have your VIN checked against it.
How can I tell whether my seat frame is the loose one?
You may be able to feel play by pushing the seat side to side, but a frame can be under-tightened without being obvious. The only reliable check is a VIN lookup at an Acura dealer, which costs nothing.
