Chevy Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon front seat bolts loose
high How serious is it? About this label
The notice does not tell owners to stop driving, but a front seat that could move in a crash is a serious safety issue, so get it inspected as soon as you can.
What's wrong, in plain English
Some of these SUVs had one or both front seats taken out and put back in during a repair at the factory. The bolts that hold the seat to the floor may not have been reinstalled properly, or may be missing. A seat that is not bolted down tightly can shift or move during a crash, so the person sitting in it is more likely to be hurt. A dealer inspects both front seats and installs whatever bolts are needed.
