Kia EV6 charging unit failure can cut drive power

What's wrong, in plain English
Your EV6 has a part called the Integrated Charging Control Unit, or ICCU, that keeps the small 12-volt battery charged. On some of these cars that unit can be damaged and stop charging the battery. If the 12-volt battery is no longer being charged, the car can lose drive power. Kia will inspect the unit, replace it and its fuse if needed, and update the unit's software at no cost to you.
