Very serious: a fuel leak can lead to a fire, and while the notice does not tell owners to park the car, you should get it inspected immediately and stop driving it if you smell or see leaking fuel.

What's wrong, in plain English

The high-pressure fuel pump on these cars can crack and let gasoline leak out. Leaking fuel near anything hot or sparking can start a fire. A dealer will inspect the pump and replace it if it needs it, at no cost to you. Honda mailed owner letters on February 20, 2025, so if you have not had this checked, book it now. If you ever smell gasoline or see fuel dripping under the car, call your dealer right away.

Safety risk

Remedy
