Audi Q6 and SQ6 e-tron rearview camera shows blurry image
medium How serious is it? About this label
A poor rear image can hide something behind you and lead to a crash while backing up; the notice does not say to stop driving, but be extra careful reversing and check over your shoulder.
What's wrong, in plain English
The camera that shows what is behind you when you back up may display a fuzzy, unclear picture. A blurry image makes it harder to see people, pets or objects behind the car while reversing. Because the picture is not clear enough, these vehicles do not meet the federal rear visibility rule. A dealer will fit a new rearview camera, and will also check the surround view cameras and replace them if needed.
