Reported Dec 19, 2025 · Campaign 25V900000 · Model years: 2024
Audi is recalling certain 2019 through 2026 vehicles, including A6, A7, Q7, Q8 and e-tron models. A software error can keep the backup camera picture from showing on the screen the way it is supposed to. Because the rear camera view may not appear, these vehicles do not meet the federal safety rule covering what a driver must be able to see behind the vehicle.
Audi says the high-voltage battery in some E-Tron GT and RS E-Tron GT vehicles may develop a short circuit inside a battery module. Dealers will install new diagnostic software as the fix. Until then, some vehicles will have their battery data monitored online at no cost; if a problem is found, the owner will be told to charge only to 80% capacity until the module is replaced. Vehicles without online monitoring will get a dealer inspection instead.
Reported Jun 20, 2024 · Campaign 24V465000 · Model years: 2024
On these cars, the brake hoses that run to the front wheels can develop tears. A tear can let brake fluid leak out, which can cause that brake circuit to stop working properly. When this happens, the brake pedal may need to be pushed down farther than normal, and the brakes may not slow the car as well as they should, making it take longer to come to a stop.
Reported Dec 13, 2023 · Campaign 23V842000 · Model years: 2024
Audi is recalling certain electric and other models over the portable charging system supplied with the vehicle. When the industrial 220-volt/240-volt plug is used at the 100% charge setting, some home outlets cannot handle the electrical current the charging system needs. The outlet or the charging cable can then overheat. Dealers will supply a new 220-volt/240-volt portable charging cable with a temperature sensor built in, free of charge.
