Mercedes-Benz dashboard display can go blank while driving high

Reported 2026-05-01 · Campaign 26V281000 · Model years: 2025

In these Mercedes-Benz cars and SUVs, the infotainment computer can restart by itself while you are driving. When it does, the digital dashboard in front of the driver goes completely dark. You lose your speedometer and any warning lights, so you cannot tell how fast you are going or whether something else on the car needs attention. The dealer loads updated infotainment software at no cost to fix it.

Mercedes-Benz C-Class driver seat belt anchor may loosen high

Reported 2025-05-02 · Campaign 25V253000 · Model years: 2025

On these Mercedes C 300 and AMG C 43 vehicles, a cover on the driver's side seat belt may not have been installed correctly on the belt tensioner. If that cover is wrong, the seat belt anchor — the point where the belt is fastened to the car — can work loose. A loose anchor means the belt may not hold you properly in a crash. Dealers will inspect the seat belt covers and repair them if needed, free of charge.
