What's wrong, in plain English
Some 2019 Fiestas were built with the wrong fluid used when the brake calipers were assembled. That fluid can make the rubber seals inside the calipers swell up. Swollen seals can keep the brakes partly pressed against the wheels even when your foot is off the pedal, so the brakes rub constantly and get very hot. Overheated brakes can fade and may not slow the car the way you expect.
What you should do
2. Contact a Ford dealer, or Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 (recall 19S27), for an appointment.
3. The dealer will flush the brake fluid and replace the front brake calipers and brake hoses, free of charge.
