On certain 2023 Broncos, the transmission's park system may have been damaged during assembly. The parking pawl is the part inside the transmission that locks the wheels when you shift into Park. If it does not fully engage, the vehicle can roll away on its own after you park it. Ford dealers will replace the entire transmission at no cost to you. Owner notification letters for this recall were mailed on August 11, 2023.
