On some 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 electric vehicles, bolts that hold the rear suspension alignment in place may not have been tightened properly at the factory. If those bolts are loose, the rear wheels can shift out of position and the car can lose stability — meaning it may not track or handle the way you expect. Remedy
Dealers will replace the adjustment bolts, align the wheels, and replace tires if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 10, 2025. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 284.
