Chevrolet Silverado trucks missing the required owner's manual
low How serious is it? About this label
Without an owner's manual to consult, owners may not know how to safely use and operate the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury in a crash. The notice does not tell owners to stop driving.
What's wrong, in plain English
Some 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks left the factory without an owner's manual in the vehicle. That book explains how to safely use the truck, including the built-in child car seat anchors, and federal rules require it to be supplied with the truck. Nothing mechanical is wrong and no part can break. The concern is that without the manual you may not know how to use something correctly, especially a child seat.
