What's wrong, in plain English

The bolt that holds the steering column to the steering gear may come loose or break. If it fails, the steering column can come apart and you could lose the ability to steer the car. This affects certain 2021 Cayenne models. The fix itself is quick: a dealer installs a new screw at no cost to you. Porsche mailed letters to owners on August 24, 2021, and the repair is free.
