On some 2021 Durango SUVs, the spoiler — the trim piece across the top of the rear window — may not line up properly with the roof. Because of that, opening and closing the rear liftgate can knock into the spoiler and damage it over time. A damaged spoiler can eventually work loose and fall off while you are driving, landing in the roadway where another vehicle could hit it or swerve to avoid it.
What you should do
2. Call a Dodge dealer, or FCA US customer service at 1-800-853-1403 (recall Y73), to arrange an inspection.
3. The dealer will inspect and, if needed, replace the rear spoiler, free of charge.
