Ram heavy-duty trucks: windshield wiper arms can come loose
medium How serious is it? About this label
Moderate — the truck itself is fine, but wipers that quit in bad weather leave you driving nearly blind, so get the free adjustment before the next storm.
What's wrong, in plain English
The nuts that hold the windshield wiper arms in place can loosen. When that happens, the wipers may not sweep properly, may move out of position, or may stop clearing the glass at all — a real problem in rain or snow, when you need to see the road. The fix is quick: a dealer tightens the wiper nuts free of charge. This recall expands an earlier one, 20V-208, to cover more trucks. Owner letters were mailed in February 2022.
