The EV9 has a feature that lets you move the vehicle into or out of a parking space while you stand outside it. A software error can make the vehicle miscalculate how much distance it needs to stop, so it may not halt where you expect it to. A dealer reloads corrected braking software free of charge. Owner notification letters went out October 4, 2024. Kia calls this recall SC324.
