Kia EV9: second and third row seat bolts missing
high How serious is it? About this label
Serious for anyone riding in the back seats during a crash; the notice does not say to stop driving, but avoid carrying passengers in the rear rows until it is checked.
What's wrong, in plain English
The bolts that hold the second-row and third-row seats down to the floor may be missing on some of these vehicles. Without those bolts a seat may not stay put and may not hold a person in place during a crash or a hard stop, and anyone sitting back there could be hurt. The dealer will look at the seat mounts and install any bolts that are missing, at no cost to you.
