On certain 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrids, the hose that carries gasoline from the tank toward the engine may not have been installed correctly at the factory, which lets fuel leak out. Leaking gasoline only needs a spark or a hot surface to catch fire. You might notice a strong gas smell, or wet spots and drips under the vehicle. Dealers will install a new fuel hose along with a cover for the connector so it seals properly.

Summary: Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid vehicles. The fuel feed hose may have been improperly installed, allowing fuel to leak. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 301, "Fuel System Integrity."
Safety risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
