Genesis G90 and GV60 dashboard display may go blank

NHTSA campaign 25V474000 · Reported 2025-07-17 · Hyundai Motor America

medium How serious is it? About this label

Serious enough to fix soon — driving without a speedometer or warning lights raises the risk of a crash, though the notice does not tell owners to stop driving.

What's wrong, in plain English

A software problem in these Genesis G90 and GV60 models can make the main dashboard display stop working. That is the screen that shows your speed and your warning lights. If it goes blank, you cannot see how fast you are going or whether the car is trying to warn you about something. Because of this, the vehicles do not meet the federal safety rule for controls and displays.

What you should do

1. Check your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls to see if your vehicle is covered. 2. Look for the free over-the-air software update, or contact your Genesis dealer about recall 027G (Genesis customer service: 844-340-9741). 3. Have the display software updated at no cost.
