On these Jeep Wagoneer S vehicles, the cover over the rear liftgate hinge may not have been clipped fully into place when the vehicle was built. If it works free, it can come off the vehicle while you are driving. The main danger is to people behind you — a loose piece of trim in the road can cause another driver to crash. Your dealer will inspect the cover and refit or replace it as needed, free of charge.
