Jeep Wrangler roof tent cover may break off
high How serious is it? About this label
Losing the cover at road speed could cause a crash; the notice does not tell you to stop driving, but no fix exists yet, so ask the company what to do in the meantime.
What's wrong, in plain English
Some 2018 Jeep Wranglers were sold with a roof top tent mounted on top. The hard top cover of that tent can crack or break apart, and a broken cover may come off the vehicle while you are driving. A cover that flies off turns into an obstacle in the road for you and for the drivers behind you, which could lead to a crash. A repair has not been finalized yet, so owners will be told once one is ready.
