Rivian R1S and R1T front turn signals may fail
medium How serious is it? About this label
The notice does not restrict driving, but failed turn signals raise the crash risk, so check that both front signals flash before you drive and use hand signals if one is out.
What's wrong, in plain English
One or both of the front turn signals may not light up or blink. Drivers around you would have no way of knowing you plan to turn or change lanes, which can lead to a crash. Rivian will check the front turn signals and replace them if needed, at no cost. The parts are not ready yet, so owners get a first letter now and a second letter when the repair can be scheduled.
