A bad electrical connection at the audio module keeps the warning beep from playing, so a driver or passenger riding unbelted may never get the reminder. The seat belts themselves still work normally; only the alert is affected. Because of this, the vehicle does not meet the federal safety rule for seat belt warnings. A dealer will replace the connector parts at no charge.
The large battery that powers some 2025 Volvo EX30 vehicles can short out inside and get too hot, which can lead to a fire. Until your vehicle is repaired, Volvo says you should charge the battery no higher than 70 percent. A dealer will inspect the battery and replace any battery sections that need it, free of charge. Owner letters went out in August 2026, and this recall replaces an earlier one.
