Tesla visibility recalls: mirrors, wipers and windows — what owners should know
Tesla's visibility recalls are three separate one-off defects rather than one repeating fault. The oldest involves 2021 Model S cars built with the wrong exterior mirror glass: a convex driver's mirror and a passenger mirror missing the 'Objects in Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear' etching. The newest hits the 2024 Cybertruck, where excessive electrical current can kill the front windshield wiper motor controller. Is it safe to keep driving?
