Nissan Armada and Infiniti QX80: wrong weight rating label low

Reported 2026-07-15 · Campaign 26V455000 · Model years: 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025

The sticker on the door frame lists how much weight each axle can safely carry. On these vehicles with 22-inch wheels, that number is printed too high. If you load up to what the label says, you could actually be carrying more than the tires and wheels are built to handle. Nissan will install a corrected label free of charge and is also mailing replacement labels to owners. Nothing mechanical is wrong with the vehicle itself.

Nissan and Infiniti backup camera may not show image medium

Reported 2025-11-26 · Campaign 25V821000 · Model years: 2025

When you start the vehicle, a software glitch in the touchscreen system can keep the backup camera picture from showing up. Shift into reverse and the screen may stay blank, so you cannot see what is behind you. Federal rules require that picture to appear. This affects certain Nissan Murano and Armada and Infiniti QX80 models. The fix is a software update, done either at the dealer or sent to the vehicle over the air, at no charge.

Nissan Armada and INFINITI QX80 fuel pumps can fail high

Reported 2021-05-20 · Campaign 21V373000 · Model years: 2020, 2021

A small spinning part inside the fuel pump can swell up and jam, which makes the pump quit. When the pump stops, gasoline stops reaching the engine and the engine can shut off while you are driving. Losing the engine in traffic makes a crash more likely. This affects Armada and QX80 models with the V8 engine. Dealers will put in a whole new fuel pump unit at no charge to you.

Nissan and Infiniti backup camera image can stay off medium

Reported 2019-09-12 · Campaign 19V654000 · Model years: 2018, 2019

The backup camera and display settings can be adjusted so the rear view image no longer appears — and the system keeps that setting the next time you shift into reverse. That means the screen can stay blank when you back up and you cannot see what is behind the vehicle. Because of this, these vehicles do not meet the federal rear visibility rule. A dealer will update the camera settings software for free.
