A broken suspension arm can take away your control of the car with no warning, which is very serious; the notice does not tell owners to stop driving, but this should be handled immediately.

What's wrong, in plain English

Each front wheel is held in place by suspension arms. On these cars one of those arms, the lower trailing arm, was not made correctly at the factory and can break. If an arm breaks while you are driving, that wheel is no longer held properly and you can lose control of the car. Dealers replace the front lower trailing arms at no charge to you.

1. Enter your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls to confirm your car is covered. 2. Call Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243 or your dealer and mention recall AMB2. 3. Have the front lower trailing arms replaced; the repair is free.

Summary: Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2021 Taycan, Panamera, Panamera Turbo S, Panamera GTS, Panamera 4, Panamera 4 Sport Turismo, Panamera 4 Executive, Panamera 4S Executive, Panamera 4S, Panamera 4S E-Hybrid, and Panamera 4 E-Hybrid vehicles. The front lower trailing arms were not forged correctly and may break.
Safety risk: A broken front lower trailing arm may cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the front lower trailing arms, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 1, 2021. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is AMB2.
