What's wrong, in plain English

The fuel line on some 2023 Chrysler Pacifica plug-in hybrid minivans may be bent or squashed out of shape, and that can let gasoline leak out. Leaking fuel near anything hot or sparking can start a fire. Dealers will inspect the fuel line and install a new one if it needs it, at no cost to you. Chrysler mailed notification letters to owners at the end of August 2023.

Summary: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023 Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid Electric vehicles. The fuel line may be deformed, causing a fuel leak.
Safety risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel line as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 31, 2023. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 77A.
