What's wrong, in plain English

Traction control is the system that quietly cuts wheel spin when a tire starts to slip — on wet roads, snow, or loose gravel. On these vans, traction control stops working whenever cruise control is switched on. That means the van could slide more easily than you expect in slippery conditions. Until the fix is done, avoid using cruise control when the road is wet, icy, or snowy. The dealer will update the software at no charge.

3. Have the traction control software updated — the fix is free.

Summary: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Pacifica and Voyager vehicles. The traction control system (TCS) does not function when cruise control is activated.
Safety risk: An inactive traction control system can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the TCS software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 11, 2024. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 22B.
