Lincoln block heater fire risk and missing safety label recalls
All three Lincoln equipment recalls come from Ford, and only one involves a part that can fail. The engine block heater recall covers 2016-2019 Lincoln MKC and 2020-2022 Corsair alongside their Ford cousins; the heater can crack, leak coolant and catch fire. The other two are documentation problems on big Lincoln SUVs: 2018-2023 Navigator owner's manuals lack instructions for adjusting or removing the center third-row head restraints, and 2018-2024 Navigator plus 2020-2025 Aviator and 2020-2024 Corsair vehicles were built without the dashboard air bag warning label, failing federal labeling rules. Navigator appears in both paperwork recalls, and cold-climate Lincolns with block heaters carry the only fire risk.

Is it safe to keep driving?
None of these three recalls tells Lincoln owners to stop driving or park outside. For the block heater recall, Ford's only restriction is that you must not plug the block heater in until the replacement is done; the vehicle itself can be driven normally. The missing head restraint instructions and the missing dashboard air bag label are compliance problems, not broken parts, so those vehicles are safe to keep driving — though a badly positioned head restraint could add injury risk in a crash.
What the free repair involves
Only one of these recalls involves shop work: dealers replace the engine block heater, with an alternative option to replace the heater element instead. For the other two, Ford mails you the missing paperwork — an owner's manual addendum covering the center head restraints, and the dashboard air bag warning label. All three remedies are free of charge.
