What's wrong, in plain English
One 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van was built with the wrong size brake discs on the front axle. Brake discs are the metal rotors the brake pads grip to slow the van down. Because these are not the correct size, the van may not brake the way it was designed to, and it can take a longer distance to come to a stop than the driver expects. Daimler Vans USA is recalling this single van, and a dealer will install the correct brake discs at no cost.

- Remedy
- A dealer will replace the brake discs, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 13, 2021. Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 1-877-762-8267. DVUSA's number for this recall is VS3BRESCHE.
