Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager side curtain airbags lose pressure

NHTSA campaign 25V573000 · Reported 2025-09-04 · Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)

high How serious is it? About this label

An air bag with insufficient pressure retention increases the risk of ejection and injury during a crash. The notice does not tell owners to stop driving.

What's wrong, in plain English

The long airbags that drop down from above the side windows on some 2025 Pacifica and Voyager minivans may have seams that were not sealed correctly. That means they can lose air pressure too quickly when they inflate, so they may not stay firm long enough to keep people from being thrown out of a side window in a crash. Dealers replace them free. Note: a newer recall, 26V189, replaces this one, and vans already fixed need the new repair too.
