What's wrong, in plain English

The strip of stainless-steel trim along the top edge of the windshield can come loose and fall off the car. The main danger here is not to you but to people behind you, because a piece of metal lying in the road can cause another driver to crash. Dealers will replace the windshield molding at no cost. Owner letters are expected to start going out October 30, 2025, but you can already look your car up.

2. Contact your Genesis dealer, or Genesis customer service at 844-340-9741 (recall 028G), to schedule the work.
3. Have the windshield molding replaced free of charge; you do not have to wait for your letter.

Remedy
