The headlight units on some 2017-2018 Dodge Journey SUVs contain a small amber reflector on the side. That reflector is supposed to bounce back the light from other cars' headlights so your vehicle shows up from the side, even when it is parked or its own lights are off. On these vehicles the reflector is too dim to do that job properly. The dealer will replace the whole headlight assembly on each side at no cost.

Without it, pockets of gas can form in the rear brake system, and that can make the rear brakes less effective than they should be. The computer that runs the engine has a small part inside, a voltage regulator chip, that can fail. When it does, the engine can shut off while you are driving, or the vehicle may not start at all. A stall in traffic leaves you without engine power and can put you in the path of other vehicles. Dealers will replace the whole engine computer at no charge.
Chrysler is recalling certain 2018 Dodge Journey and Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 vehicles. The backup camera picture can disappear from the screen while you are reversing, which means you could be backing up with no view of what is behind you. These vehicles have cruise control, which holds a set speed for you. A short circuit in the wiring can lock the cruise control on. If that happens, tapping the brake pedal or pressing the off button may not shut it off, and the vehicle can keep its speed or even speed up on its own. Chrysler tells owners to stop using cruise control until the free computer software update is done at a dealer.
