Hyundai recalls for wrong tire, weight and airbag warning labels
None of these four Hyundai recalls involves a broken part — all four are labeling errors that put the vehicle out of compliance with federal standards. Tucson appears twice: the 2024 tire and loading information label wrongly indicates spare tire information, and 2025 Tucsons left the factory missing the glove box air bag warning label required by FMVSS 208. The other two are both 2020 models — Kona certification labels printed with the wrong Gross Axle Weight Rating, and Sonatas built between October 22, 2019 and February 13, 2020 whose driver's door tire pressure label and owner's manual list the wrong tire size. Every one is a sticker or paperwork fix.

Is it safe to keep driving?
All four of these are safe to drive. Nothing mechanical is broken; the vehicle simply carries wrong or missing information, and no notice asks owners to stop driving or park outside. A few limits are worth respecting in the meantime. Do not buy tires using the 2020 Sonata door label or manual, since the size printed there is wrong. Do not load a 2020 Kona to the axle rating on its certification label. And keep infants and young children out of the front passenger seat of a 2025 Tucson until the air bag warning label arrives.
What the free repair involves
There is nothing to repair mechanically. For the 2020 Kona, 2020 Sonata and 2024 Tucson, dealers install corrected stickers over the existing certification, tire pressure, or tire and loading information labels, and new stickers go in the Sonata owner's manual. For the 2025 Tucson, Hyundai mails the missing glove box air bag warning label to you instead of scheduling a visit. All of it is free.

For the 2020 Kona, 2020 Sonata and 2024 Tucson, yes — a dealer installs or replaces the label free of charge. For the 2025 Tucson missing glove box air bag warning label, Hyundai simply mails the label to you.
My 2024 Tucson label mentions a spare tire I don't have — is that this recall?
That is exactly it. The tire and loading information label may incorrectly indicate spare tire information, which fails FMVSS 110. Dealers inspect and replace the label. The stated risk is confusion during an emergency tire change, not a mechanical failure.
Can I just wait until my next service visit?
You can keep driving, but the labels matter at specific moments: buying tires for a 2020 Sonata, loading a 2020 Kona to its axle rating, or seating a child in front of a 2025 Tucson's air bag. Handle it before those.
