10 recalls covering model years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025. To check whether your vehicle is affected, look up your 17-character VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls — a recall may apply only to some vehicles of a given year.
One or both front brake calipers — the parts that squeeze the brake pads against the wheel to slow the car — may not be as strong as they should be, and could break. If one breaks, you can lose braking at the front wheels, which do most of the stopping. Because of this, the vehicles do not meet the federal brake safety standard. Dealers will inspect both front calipers and replace them where needed.
On certain 2024 Nissan Pathfinder and Infiniti QX60 vehicles, a rivet is missing from the driver's-side front seat belt. That rivet holds down the part of the lap belt that pulls the belt tight in a crash. Without it, that part is not properly fastened to the vehicle, so the lap belt may not hold the person in the seat during a crash. A dealer inspects the belt and replaces the part if needed.
Because of a manufacturing problem, the driver's airbag in these Nissan and Infiniti vehicles can soak up moisture. A damp airbag may not inflate the way it is supposed to in a crash. That means the airbag in the steering wheel might not protect the driver properly in a collision. There is no warning light or symptom you can check yourself. The dealer replaces the whole driver's airbag at no cost.
These SUVs have headlights that aim themselves automatically as you drive. At certain higher speeds, the system can tilt the beams too far downward. That is the opposite of what you want at speed: the light lands close to the front of the vehicle instead of reaching far down the road, so you see less of what is coming. The dealer fixes it by changing settings in one of the vehicle's control modules.
The driver's power seat may not be bolted tightly to its frame. Over time the welds holding the frame to a bracket at the back can break loose. A seat that isn't firmly attached may not hold the driver in place in a crash, so a crash that would have caused minor injuries could cause worse ones. A dealer checks the seat and replaces the seat cushion frame if needed, at no charge.
On some 2023 Infiniti QX60 vehicles, the sliding second-row seat can move back farther than it was designed to go. When that happens, the seat can be hard to move, get stuck, or fail to click into a locked position. A seat that is not locked in place can move during a crash, so it may not hold the person sitting there as it should and they could be hurt. A dealer will take out the second-row seat and put in a new one.
Some of these vehicles left the factory with a bolt missing from the track that holds the second-row seat to the floor. With that bolt gone, the seat is not anchored as strongly as it should be, and it could shift or move in a crash. Anyone riding in the second row could be hurt more badly as a result. A dealer will inspect the seat track and install a new mounting bolt if one is missing.
Part of the front steering or the rear axle housing on these vehicles may be weaker than it should be, because it wasn't heat-treated correctly at the factory. If you hit something like a curb, that weak part can bend. Bending in the front can make you lose control of the steering. Bending in the back can let a wheel come off the vehicle. Either one can cause a crash.
The pump for the anti-lock brakes — the system that keeps your wheels from locking up in a hard stop — can leak brake fluid onto a small circuit board inside it. Fluid on those electrical parts can cause a short circuit and start a fire. Many of these vehicles were in an earlier recall and still need work. If the ABS warning light stays on more than 10 seconds after starting, Nissan says park outside, away from buildings, and stop driving. Dealers replace the pump unit free.

The backup camera and display settings can be adjusted so the rear view image no longer appears — and the system keeps that setting the next time you shift into reverse. That means the screen can stay blank when you back up and you cannot see what is behind the vehicle. Because of this, these vehicles do not meet the federal rear visibility rule. A dealer will update the camera settings software for free.
