Park-Outside Recalls (Fire Risk)

Every recall where owners are told to park outdoors and away from buildings because the vehicle can catch fire, even when switched off.

A park-outside advisory means a fire can start while the vehicle is parked and unattended, so the danger is to your garage and home as much as to the car. Until the free repair is done, park in the open, away from structures and other vehicles. For plug-in models the notice often adds charging limits — follow the wording of your own recall letter.

59 recalls for 2018–2026 model-year vehicles carry this advisory. By make: Hyundai 15, Kia 9, Chevrolet 8, Mercedes-Benz 4, Jeep 3, Volkswagen 3, Lincoln 3, Genesis 3, Chrysler 2, BMW 2, Ford 2, RAM 2, Nissan 2, Volvo 1, Toyota 1, Dodge 1, Subaru 1, GMC 1, Infiniti 1.
